The Program Manager will serve as a member of our S&I team to drive our impact goals across planet and community. This role will be responsible for helping Slalom achieve our 2030 goals and tracking progress against those goals. The role will work across business functions and counties to implement initiatives, manage data and systems, draft policies and guidelines, and build community for our green teams and volunteerism programs. The position will support our annual reporting and disclosures including CDP, Ecovadis, GRI, and our annual Impact Report. This role will require a positive written and verbal communicator who has strong attention to detail, who can work independently. The team member will join Slalom's Sustainability & Impact Team, led by Slalom's Global Impact Leader.
What You'll Do
Build and Foster Slalom's Sustainability and Impact Communities
Manage the operations, information sharing, and initiatives of the Slalom Green Teams and Partners for Good.
Own and manage internal sites and tools - directing all internal team members to the most up to date policies, procedures and toolkits that enables efficient and effective engagement (pro bono, volunteerism, renewable energy, green teams, partners for good, and monetary donations).
Support the creation of a global partnership strategy that empowers Slalom's local markets to do more community impact work that aligns to the global impact vision.
Internal Communications, and the Executive office to ensure the impact strategy is integrated in all facets of Slalom's business operations.
Create authentic and trusting relationships within and with our partners outside of Slalom.
Envision, plan, and execute on Slalom communication campaigns and celebratory months including Earth Month.
Monitor and track key impact metrics and develop tools for all markets including databases, dashboards, start-up guides, and partner repositories. Contribute to and promote an insights driven culture.
Support Slalom's Decarbonization
Create global standards/guiding principles and policies for that guide how we work at Slalom including environmental policies, single-use plastic policies, and others.
Partner with global functions like Legal, Procurement, Finance, HR, Marketing, etc. to achieve our decarbonization goals.
Lead the gathering, preparation, and cleaning of our raw environmental data to prepare for further processing and analysis using Tableau and PowerBI and generating SQL queries.
Support our annual GHG verification process.
Collaborate with our information technology teams on the management and implementation of our GHG accounting platform.
Update and maintain Slalom's GHG and environmental impact metric dashboards, building new dashboards and features as required.
Engage with local operations on resource reduction strategies including waste, water, and electricity.
Support Slalom's shift to 100% renewable energy.
Tell Slalom's Impact Story
Collaborate with key stakeholders to elevate and track impact stories happening across the business to inform our annual Impact Report.
Collaborate on the preparation of Slalom's public disclosures including CDP, Ecovadis, and GRI, as well as industry or client specific disclosures.
Enable Slalom's Business
Support client teams in their response to client RFPs as it relates to ESG topics and Slalom's experience/journey.
Participate in client and alliance partner calls as needed with client-facing market teams.
Collaborate on sustainability and impact compliance strategy for existing and emerging markets. Research new requirements as they go into effect.
Track client requirements, disclosures and mandates to enable our business and maintain good standing with our clients.
What You'll Bring
Experience and understanding in and of the consulting industry and/or environmental, social, and governance frameworks and theories.
Experience developing, coordinating, and overseeing programs, projects, and strategies that advance an organization's corporate citizenship impact vision.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels and ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a compelling and succinct way.
Communicates maturely and intentionally in contexts that may require negotiation and diplomacy to influence stakeholder expectations and understanding.
Demonstrated ability to measure, interpret and communicate the quantitative and qualitative aspects of sustainability and impact.
Ability to thrive in new environments and navigate in ambiguity.
Experience working in matrixed organizations.
Extensive project/program management experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $85,000 to $115,000 In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
This is a remote position and team members must be based in a location where Slalom has a license to do business. Team members must not be more than 50 miles from the Slalom office which they are assigned.
