The Music Department is seeking (1) Institutional Work Study student at 20 hours per week for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 terms. Duties include: keep the building open during the evenings and weekends so that music students have access to equipment to practice their music and prepare for classes.

The student should have a knowledge of music equipment, be able to read music, understand score order of printed parts to maintain the music library, and have basic computer skills.

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
