Job Summary
This position serves in the Student Employment Center (SEC) within the Employment & Faculty Support Services section of Human Resources. This position will process student employment transactions and provide customer service to departments and students in reference to student employment.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Processes/Enters/Reviews PeopleSoft Data
Processes and enters/reviews data in PeopleSoft for all terminations, salary changes and transfers for student employees in a timely and accurate manner according to the published payroll schedule. Reviews own data entry for accuracy.
Provides Highest Level of Customer Service
Provides highest level of customer service to campus employees, department managers, retirees, and other AU business units as necessary to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data. This will include coordination with OneUSG Connect - Benefits.
Complete Clearance Process
Completes AU clearance process for all terminating student employees.
Receives/Reviews Accuracy & Completeness of ePAR's
Receives and reviews for accuracy and completeness all electronic personnel action requests and audits corresponding employment documents for student employees; processes accordingly.
Assist Walk-In Customers
Assists walk-in customers with inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
All Other Duties
Performs all other job-related clerical functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School graduate, GED or equivalent from a recognized stated or federal accredited organization with one year of customer service experience. Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated verbal communication skills required. Prefer experience with a human resource management system (HRMS) or comparable integrated database system and knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of customers effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases and record keeping procedures

Pay Grade: 12
Salary: $15.06 - $16.87
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
