As an Indirect Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for technology and other service acquisitions and fulfillment within indirect sourcing supporting IT and other categories. You'll get the opportunity to manage sourcing processes from beginning to end and act as a product consultant to provide solutions for new products and services to meet business needs.
During your first few weeks in this indirect sourcing role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:
Establish and manage relationships with internal customers/stakeholders
Support IT initiatives by understanding all processes and stakeholders within the IT organization
Manage the RFI/RFP process, which includes organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; and monitoring results
Manage daily IT hardware/software requests and issue POs as needed
Obtain quotes, compare, evaluate, and negotiate pricing
We are looking for an Indirect Sourcing Specialist with a Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or other related field or at least 5+ years of experience. You will also require:
2+ years of contract negotiation experience, including master agreements
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and organization skills
Good work ethic and commitment to accomplish tasks as assigned
Aptitude for handling multi-dimensional, complex processes and/or projects with the ability to identify specific examples (this experience may have been exhibited while functioning in a non-technical role)
Proven ability to establish, maintain, and manage valuable and genuine internal/external business relationships
