McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston , a leading academic health center, is seeking a full-time academic medical Vascular Surgeon at the associate professor level for the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery

Position Key Accountabilities:

The Rank of Associate Professor in Vascular Surgery will be responsible for teaching, provide direct patient care and supervision of medical students and residents in clinic and hospital settings. Research activities will involve the development and leading of a novel multidisciplinary research working group to address critical vascular problems in women - especially vascular problems occurring during the prime reproductive years; and in some cases in connection with pregnancy and childbirth.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Required or preferred board certification/eligibility statement. Required or preferred minimum years of clinical experience or years post-residency statement.
