Job Description



GPI's Milford, Delaware Office seeks a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to help Project Managers oversee and perform Administrative, Accounting, and Human Resources duties in a fast-paced environment while working closely with the Administrative and Management team members within the Columbia Branch.Candidates should be well-organized with strong written and verbal communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities:



  • Assist with Administrative tasks, including:



    • Timesheet review & approval.

    • Purchasing and ordering PPE equipment for field staff.

    • Assist with Contract Proposal writing.

    • Managing vehicle fleet services.

    • Coordinate employee conferences, professional meetings, and training registrations.





  • Assist with Accounting tasks, including:



    • Expense report review and processing.

    • Assist with invoice review to meet client requirements.

    • Produce routine financial project tracking reports.





  • Assist with Human Resource tasks, including:



    • Assisting with onboarding activities, following up on offer letters, checking in on new-hire paperwork, and assisting with new hire orientations.

    • Recruiting activities, including coordinating career fairs, developing employment ads, resume reviews, and interview scheduling and coordination.




Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience in administrative and accounting tasks is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated team-oriented behavior.




Requirements



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration

  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language

  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
