The purpose of this position is to lead and manage multiple tactical and business-critical projects. This position also assists with strategic projects, which are the highest priority for the company and frequently involve multiple sub-teams and budgets of seven figures and above. The Strategy Project Manager works closely with business leaders to translate their initiatives into project scopes with appropriate goals and deliverables; leading and directing cross-functional teams composed of up to and including Senior Vice Presidents; managing project budgets; planning, organizing and assigning tasks and resources; managing risks and developing and overseeing execution of change management plans.
Responsibilities include:
providing skilled project management and team facilitation for multiple tactical and business-critical projects and assisting with strategic projects
communicating with and advising senior decision makers and other stakeholders on the course, risks and decisions of the assigned projects
supporting department-specific processes such as strategic planning/ideation exercises and strategy and innovation thought leadership and communication via department-specific products such as competitor profiles and reports, SharePoint sites, internal publications, etc.
promoting and sharing best practices and other learnings with both project teams and department peers and providing training/mentoring on project management techniques
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business, Engineering, Accounting, or related analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
4 years’ work experience in a corporate environment with at least 2 years of that experience managing projects (e.g., at the individual or group level)
be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver’s license and obtain authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)
