Job Overview: As a Partnership Specialist, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining formal and informal partnerships between The Princeton Review and high value schools, and organizations within those schools, to promote direct-to-consumer programs for the students of the schools. A primary focus will be to identify, establish, manage, and nurture relationships that enhance the educational experience for students and contribute to the overall goals and objectives of The Princeton Review. This includes planning and executing compelling on-campus and online partnership events that engage students and drive enrollments into The Princeton Review programs including on-campus courses.


Major Responsibilities:



  1. Serve as primary point of contact for partner schools and organizations and provide outstanding client service while promoting the brand and increasing enrollment in test preparation, academic support, and admissions programs. 

  2. Identify, research, and evaluate partnership opportunities based on alignment with The Princeton Review’s mission and goals.

  3. Develop and nurture relationships with key administrators, counselors, advisors, faculty, parents, and student organizations through on-campus meetings and strategic communication to secure new collaborations, strengthen existing partnerships, increase The Princeton Review's brand recognition, and promote attendance at events. 

  4. Negotiate and execute partnership agreements ensuring that all terms are favorable to the company and aligned with our business goals.

  5. Coordinate and conduct partnership activities. This includes delivering dynamic on-campus and online presentations as well as networking and tabling at conferences and on campuses.

  6. Communicate effectively. Serve as a liaison between The Princeton Review and external partners, ensuring clear and consistent communication. Provide support and follow-up with prospective students to ensure that they choose The Princeton Review for their test preparation, academic help, and admissions needs. 

  7. Track activity in a complete and timely manner using internal systems.

  8. Support other internal teams to ensure outstanding experiences across the entire student lifecycle, including facilitating smooth handoffs to the Enrollment Team and supporting the logistics and student support of on-campus programs.

  9. Stay informed, review data, and analyze industry trends. This includes staying on top of educational developments, uncovering potential partnership opportunities, assessing the impact and effectiveness of partnerships/events, and developing strategies to respond to market dynamics and competitor activity. 



  1. Undertake other duties as assigned, showcasing flexibility and readiness to contribute to the overall success of the team.


 


Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:



  1. Bachelor's Degree preferred

  2. At least 1 year experience in sales, client/customer relationship building, or partnership development.

  3. Experience in education, test preparation, academic support, or admissions preferred.

  4. In-depth knowledge of area geography and target schools a plus.

  5. Enthusiastic, confident and optimistic demeanor with an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

  6. Dynamic speaker with the ability to present to large groups of students and faculty members, both in-person and virtually.

  7. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  8. A driven self-starter with a desire to meet and exceed goals.  

  9. Ability to manage your own time and work remotely and autonomously from your manager, teammates, and clients. 

  10. An ethic of personal responsibility; holding yourself accountable on behalf of your team.

  11. The ability to travel throughout the area and work remotely via platforms such as Microsoft Teams.

  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.


 


Salary: $59,100-$66,560 per year, based on a 40 hour work week.
