Job Description:

Bray Sales, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for one of its’ Sales and Distribution office, located in Denver.  The Sales Manager will lead a sales team for Colorado & Wyoming reporting to the General Manager.  You must have a proven track record leading a sales organization.  Setting the strategic direction, aligning the organization, and executing your plans. With superior leadership skills, the Sales Manager will lead the team in developing a Customer centric business, working independently while managing direct reports.  The successful candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the company, its culture, products and services as well as the ability to work with all levels of management and have superior training and delegation abilities. Experience in the Process Control Industry either from product or systems perspective will be well regarded.


The Sales Manager will plan, direct and coordinate various aspects of the operation and will ensure that the operation runs smoothly and according to company policy.  The successful candidate will also be able to develop and execute customer sales plans and report on the financial and economic factors affecting the business, make decisions on personnel, track performance and achievements and develop a strong sales team by directing and motivating people to hit goals and targets.


Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:



  • Establish sales and bookings budgets on an annual basis for the upcoming year for each rep and distributor.

  • Lead and direct the sales team helping them grow existing accounts and penetrating new accounts

  • Develop plans that align with Customer & Market requirements while addressing competitive factors liaising with the General Manager and Stakeholders

  • Promote seminars with key customers on a regular basis and encourage plant tours in Houston for key customers, especially those with upcoming projects.

  • Coordinate all leads and follow-up on each item with the appropriate parties.

  • Monitor field service problems and appropriate resolution.

  • Follow-up on all significant outstanding quotes within business scope.

  • Coordinate any plan of action with the distributor and Inside Sales to help close an order.

  • Be completely knowledgeable with and promote all products, programs, and policies.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field of study

  • At least 5 years of sales management experience in a related industry

  • Valve/Pumps/Flow Control experience is highly preferred 

  • Proven performance in sales, self-motivated, team builder, highly energetic and have a positive outlook

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook, Microsoft D365 and Teams

  • Background in automation and control preferred

  • Ability to travel by auto and plane, carry demo cases and luggage, walk long distances and climb steps and ladders

  • Valid Driver’s License. Personal automobile available for use to make sales and service calls

  • He/She must meet requirements of Bray’s Drivers Policy at all times including maintenance of current auto liability.  Insurance coverage to the specified limits and following all company safety practices

  • Credit Check preformed during background check
