Summary:
As a Science Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contractor, Lockwood Hills Federal is seeking a Business Analyst II (Financial Analyst II) responsible for supporting the government with contract and finance clerical administration. This includes accurate execution of business actions (e.g., finance, procurement, contracting, invoicing), maintenance of complaint records, completing forms, and entering data into DoD finance and accounting IT systems. This work requires practical understanding and skill in the application of administrative rules, regulations, and procedures associated with budgetary transactions (e.g., receipt, transfer, allotment, withdrawal, obligation, and outlay of funds). This work also requires experience with Defense/Federal business processes and regulations, such as invoicing, ODC and travel expenses, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), budgetary reporting (e.g., Monthly Obligations Plans, Tri-Annual Reviews), and actioning funds. This position requires attention to detail and moderate financial administration experience (e.g., using Excel for budgets). organizing, and overseeing all work in support Department of Defense 6.3 Research and Development Organization, the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative (ADL).
The Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative is a government program reporting to the Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA), under the Director, DHRA. The ADL Initiative bridges across Defense and other Federal agencies to encourage collaboration, facilitate interoperability, and promote best practices for using distributed learning to provide the highest-quality education, training, informal learning, and just-in-time support; tailored to individual needs and delivered cost-effectively, anytime and anywhere, to increase readiness, save resources, and facilitate interorganizational collaboration.
