Job Description:

Position Summary
Perform operations to produce and deliver custom Cabinets. Works at different workstations to learn a variety of products and machines.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Read and interpret shop drawings and prints to produce or assemble cabinets or high grated furnitureCuts and shapes wood components by determining appropriate methods for cutting, shaping and assembling partsOperating equipment such as power saws, planers, sanders, and jointers, measuring and making materials, verifying dimensions, trimming and using hand toolsEnsures that assembled items meets specific quality and specificationTrim, sand, scrape surfaces or joints to prepare product for finishingPerform quality checks on materials for defects or damagesDelivery of finished products from manufacturing site to jobsites that include residential and commercialUnderstands and observes all safety procedures & practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workersPerform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned

Education/Experience
High School Diploma or GEDTape measure experiencePrevious experience in construction/woodworking environment with a variety of hand and power tools to cut, saw, staples and nail gunMinimum of 1-year driving and delivery experienceElectronic Logging Devices (ELD) experience a plus

Other Requirements
Must have or obtain DOT certification and valid, unrestricted drivers licensePass pre-employment drug screen and physicalWork morning/evening hours during week and required weekends and overtimeMaintenance of regular attendance

Excellent Verbal & Written CommunicationBasic math & measurement skillsComprehend and follow instructions communicated in written, oral and diagram formAbility to concentrate and attend to detail amidst busy work environmentAbility to work as an individual and as a team to meet productions goalsWilling to obtain other training if deemed necessary in performance of responsibilities and continuing education.

Work is in a warehouse setting and may be performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dustHave clear, close vision for reading, measurements, assembly of parts and visual acuity to operate power toolsRepetitive motion of the wrists, hands and or fingersPerform activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materialsJob may require reaching at or above shoulder level and below waistMust be able to safely squat, bend, climb, lift/carry up to 75 lbs., push/pull up to 70 lbs.Grasp, talk, hear, standing/walk for prolonged periodsReaching at or above shoulder level and below waist and have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment
