Summary:

The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for moving product to and from manufacturing areas and shipping areas while maintaining accuracy, quality, and shipments in a timely manner. Accountable for the placement and delivery of product. Maintain and operate warehouse equipment per safety and maintenance guidelines. Ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and the safety of warehouse area. Assist and follow the supervision of the Warehouse Lead, Supervisor and Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Receive, store, inspect and issue material from the assigned warehouses.

  • Package palletize and route material to appropriate area using pallet jack, golf cart, dolly, cart or forklift.

  • Pick, pack, and process shipments and building kits.

  • Load and unload trailers and containers safely and efficiently.

  • Provide excellent service to internal customers with effective deliveries/pickups by utilizing good teamwork.

  • Perform physical inventories and cycle counts.

  • Identify appropriate stock locations supporting FIFO rotation and stock consolidation efforts.

  • Review receiving paperwork for correctness I.E. packing list, RGA returns and resolve stock discrepancies.

  • Replenish component inventory as required by each Kanban card.

  • Audit open order report to insure on time delivery of units and spare orders.

  • Pick, pack, and inspect outbound shipments to insure 100% accuracy process.

  • Order warehouse supplies I.E. boxes, tape, bubble wrap and shrink wrap.

  • Perform data entry functions.

  • Monitor and correct inbound or outbound shipments.

  • Help research and resolve negative report.

  • Tear down frames for our FBD Units.

  • Provide support to warehouse, shipping and spare parts departments.

  • Demonstrate commitment to FBDs Vision, Purpose and Values. (Service, Innovation, Commitment and Excellence.)

  • Perform other duties and projects as needed and assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 1 year of previous Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse experience

  • 1 year of experience in operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklift and dollies.

  • Proficient computer skills regarding our shipping systems I.E UPS, FEDX, or DHL. Proficient computer hardware skills to include basic computer, keyboard, and mouse skills.

  • Knowledge of inventory control systems or warehouses.

  • Valid drivers license desired.

  • Able to obtain a forklift/PIT license highly desired.

  • Able to operate compactor, pallet jack, forklift, and bander.

  • Able to prioritize tasks and understand urgency of completing tasks in timely manner.

  • Excellent integrity, initiative, interpersonal skills, adaptable, problem solving, plan and organize, attention to detail, accountable, assertive and safety skills.

  • Good communication skills because of daily contact with all FBD departments, vendors, and customers.

  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

  • Possess basic math skills.

  • Able to pass a background check, drug test and reference checks.

  • Able to perform job duties 8 or more hours a day. Work early hours or late afternoon hours as needed. Must be able to workday-shift hours from approximately 6 AM 4:30 PM Monday Friday and Saturdays from 6 AM 11 AM.

Physical Demands:


  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to constantly stand, walk, grasp, reach, push, pull, lift/move, carry, see, hear, speak, and have eye/hand/foot coordination.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently climb, stoop, bend, kneel and crouch.

  • The employee must frequently lift up to 30 pounds. Lifting over 30 pounds requires a team lift.

  • This position works in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.

  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

  • Perform job duties for up to 8 or more hours a day.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Specific hearing abilities required by this job include having to hear and communicate over the phone and in person in a noising environment and having to hear alarms and bells in manufacturing areas.

  • This position is essential; therefore, the tasks need to be performed onsite at FBD.
