In this exciting role you will be working along side our design engineering team to support the development of new Modernization product designs.

What do you get to do in this position?


  • Work alongside Design Engineering in the design and fabrication of prototypes, products and product enhancements. Including providing analysis and feedback to Design Engineering about the possible assembly improvements of prototype designs.
  • Inspects materials, parts and/or complete electrical/mechanical assemblies for conformance with Schneider Electric and industry procedures, specifications and quality standards.
  • Conducts testing of prototypes, finished product, parts, units, or processes to ensure quality standards are met. Evaluates and initiates resolution of non-conformance of material and/or products.
  • Support various design testing processes and procedures throughout the test lab.
  • Perform various design tests of prototype products.
  • Work within established timelines for product development per tasks and assignments from engineering.
  • Interpret and assist with implementation of Engineering Change Notices.
  • Completes special projects and tests as necessary, including providing support to production team as needed.

This job might be for you if:


  • You have at least a H.S. diploma; technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • You have 5 years experience with Direct Replacement/ modular circuit breaker mechanical and electrical assembly.
  • You have 5 years of experience reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical assembly drawings.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
