Job Summary
The Indiana Memorial Union storeroom is the central receiving location for all packages delivered to multiple departments within the IMU building. This position will be responsible for assisting with the receiving and delivering packages that come to the building. This is a summer role but may stretch into the fall for a short time.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
Accepts packages from delivery services, notifies the ultimate recipient and occasionally helps to move packages to departments
Sorts mail daily and ensures mail and packages are picked up by the appropriate person
Scans packing slips into online storage platform
Assists departments with counting their inventory and reports items below minimum levels as needed

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

$12.00 per hour
Work Hours
Shifts available between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday throughout the summer.
