Under direct supervision, responsible for performing microbiological analysis on raw materials, finished goods, and stability samples as assigned. Reviewing routine and non-routine laboratory data as well as perform deviations and out of specification investigations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data review of routine testing, certificates of analysis, and other laboratory data
Investigation on out of specification or trend results
Deviation investigations
As needed, perform routine testing to meet business needs.
Perform non-routine assignments to conduct analysis on product/material samples.
Use laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data.
Recognizes malfunctions in laboratory equipment and notifies management.
Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices under Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Education
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related science.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 1 year of experience in QC and/or R&D microbiology laboratory.
Experience with testing antimicrobial products/materials.
Proficient in LIMS.
Knowledge of R&D and/or QC Microbiology compendial test methods.
