Job Description:

As the VP for Industry sales, you're responsible for the Equifax Identity and Fraud, Compliance, and Government sales portfolios. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive aggressive revenue growth, penetrate target markets, and expand our customer base. Additionally, the Vice President will create a strategy that enables cross-selling initiatives to maximize value for our clients and the organization. This strategy will ensure cross selling of identity and fraud products in partnership with the Equifax sales teams external to the Identity and Fraud business unit. In this role, strong growth trajectories will be expected for identified verticals and industries and you will identify new business opportunities to increase the presence of your portfolio in the market. This includes selling to current EFX customers that are not buying identity and fraud products, seeking out upsell opportunities with EFX that currently are part buying identity and fraud products and lastly identifying new customers outside of the EFX customer ecosystem.

What You'll Do


  • Develop and implement sales strategies, including cross selling, to achieve revenue targets within assigned industry verticals.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts and key decision-makers within each vertical market.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and exceed sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and challenges to position our products and services effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Drive cross-selling efforts by identifying opportunities to introduce complementary products or services to existing clients.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio and industry trends to effectively articulate value propositions to clients.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Stay informed about competitors and market trends, adjusting sales strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand our market presence.
  • Activate the company brand by speaking at industry events and creating a line of sight to our product offerings and your ambassadorship
  • Direct and guide orchestration of other EFX resources efficiently to further drive sales and revenue growth of a full Equifax solutions portfolio.
  • Direct and engage team members as they develop new business sales opportunities of complex solutions in a highly consultative manner with buyers, decision makers, influencers and customer executives.
  • Engage directly with customers in partnership with other sales organizations to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manages a broad pipeline of prospects, handles and often leads customer business reviews, contracting and negotiation and business development strategy and account planning activities.
  • Ensure successful execution of these engagements and act as an escalation point where needed, providing guidance and overall strategic direction.

What experience you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 15+ years of client-facing B2B sales experience
  • 10+ years of experience in relationship management with a clear and proven ability to communicate and build relationships with senior level executives and connect client needs with Equifax solutions.
  • 7+ years of sales leadership experience with proven ability to manage, develop, and lead a sales team operating in a sales management function with evidence showing the achievement of sales quotas.
