Job Responsibilities:
Cleaning of Lobby at front entrance
Clean glass front doors and sliding office window twice a week.
Vacuum door mats twice a week.
Remove door mats and sweep and mop tile floors once a week.
Dust furniture at least every other day, more if needed.
Clean walls as needed.
Clean light grills as needed.
Clean heating and a/c vent grills as needed.
All office areas, hallways, and conference rooms
Empty trash cans daily
Dust wall hangings, furniture, etc. in conference room and training room daily.
Vacuum carpeted mats daily.
Remove mats and sweep tile floors daily (mop floors if needed)
Sweep stairs daily.
Spot clean office glass if needed.
Clean walls if needed.
Clean all water fountains daily (plant wide)
Clean light grills as needed.
Change air filters in main office and in all other offices in plant.
Clean heating and a/c vents and grills monthly.
Canteen and office break areas
Clean tables, counters, chairs in canteen area daily.
Empty trash cans in canteen and office break area (up-stairs) daily.
Clean microwaves in canteen and office break area daily.
Clean sink and counters in office break area daily.
Sweep and mop floors daily.
Spot clean interior glass as needed with good cleaning weekly.
Clean refrigerator in canteen area weekly (see notice posted in canteen)
Clean light grills monthly
Clean heating and a/c vent grills monthly.
Restrooms Plant and office areas
Empty trash daily
Clean, scrub and sanitize sinks, toilets, and urinals daily.
Clean mirrors daily.
Sweep and mop floors daily (make sure all excess water is mopped up).
Fill paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, etc. daily and keep spares handy.
Clean walls daily if needed.
Clean light grills monthly.
Clean heating and a/c vent grills monthly.
Outside Areas
Pick-up trash etc. along road, driveway, and parking lots weekly.
Driver
Company driver (making trips as needed and directed by supervisor). Trips will include driving between plants (Morganton & Chain Drive), emptying trash and scrap wood offsite, IMT or various other locations.
Make sure all safety requirements are met. Ensure all loads are properly secure before departing from a location.
Maintain company vehicles in a clean orderly condition.
Maintenance Assistant
Maintain cleanliness of both new and used oil storage locations.
Maintain cleanliness of air compressor area & empty drum storage.
Under the direct supervision of plant maintenance, assist with diagnosing and repairing all plant equipment Including lubrication, PM's, trouble shooting, upgrading, and installations.
Perform other routine building maintenance duties, including painting, and ventilation systems maintenance.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Required Personal Protective Equipment:
All associates are required to wear protective eyewear, hearing protection, and slip resistant, steel-toed shoes at all times while on the plant floor.
