We are looking for a Field Service individual to join our growing team. Our Field Service employees are expected to travel up to 50% of the time, mostly domestic but may include some international travel. Prior mechanical and electrical experience is necessary and PLC/industrial automation software experience is desirable.

Are you a match?
Preferred 2-year technical degree or equivalent technical military training or demonstrated job related knowledge.Minimum of 2 years of field service experience in mechanical, machinery, or electrical repair service and/or installation field.Working knowledge of industrial control systems and PLCs.Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills with ability to problem solve effectively.Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to make good judgement decisions.Ability to maintain good attendance.Preferred experience or familiarity with RS Logix or other PLC softwareBasic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

What your day would be like:
Perform pre-shipment furnace commissioning.Perform field furnace commissioning, supervision of installations and customer training.Troubleshoot, problem solve and offer technical support for equipment and system issues both at customer sites and via telephone or web services.Handle warranty repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, pyrometry and vacuum leak detection services, plus hot zone installations and repairs.Be willing to travel up to 50% including some international travel. Due to the nature of our business and customer emergencies, ability to be flexible as needed to travel on short notice and work off-hours.Perform other duties as assigned.
