The Retirement Solutions Advisor Tool Strategy Manager will report to the Director of Product Intelligence and is responsible for supporting the end-to-end strategy with all Sales calculation tools, including illustrations, digital tools and calculators, and Retirement Planning tools on 3rd party platforms such as SIMON, Envestnet, MoneyGuide, etc. This will include maintaining the integrity of processes required to ensure accuracy of ongoing product updates and new product launches.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:


  • Sets the strategy for the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of Prudential Annuity and Third-Party sales tools (Illustrations, Calculators, Digital Tools, etc)

  • Facilitate ideology and feedback sessions with sales channels, control functions and business partners to provide direction and resolve problems.

  • Manage the feedback loop process. This includes validating feedback with leadership and key stakeholders and assist in the project planning through an Agile process.

  • Research competitor technology solutions used throughout the industry for financial wellness and retirement planning

  • Utilize analytics to identify trends to enhance existing tools, develop sales strategies, and identify product risks. This includes analysis of competitor sales tools as well as other tools used outside of the financial industry.

  • Ongoing review of Prudential and competitor product information on industry sites to ensure accuracy and evaluate opportunities.

  • Document ideas to be implemented through thorough discussions with all key stakeholders to perform gap analysis and initiate an intake process.

  • Active partner in implementation planning. Collaborate with the Implementation team on the prioritization of initiatives and features created via feedback loop.

  • Identify and manage risk events with leadership and cross functional partners.

  • Train and coach sales partners on Advisor Tool subject matter.

What you’ll need:


  • 4-7 years’ proven experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Understands Retirement Planning tools used on 3rd party platforms such as SIMON, Envestnet, MoneyGuide, etc

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

  • Outstanding collaboration skills and ability to partner with a wide variety of other functions and levels, including Sales, Service, IT, Control and Actuarial functions.

  • Strength of convictions and ability to influence decisions and champion product strategy.

  • Solution oriented with successful problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to leverage resource materials to support decisions.

  • Must have solid organizational skills with the ability to develop and execute plans.Excellent technical financial services product knowledge.

The salary range for this role is from $125,000.00 to $186,100.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
