Job Title: Associate Instructional Designer

Position Overview:

Insulet is on a mission to simplify life for people living with diabetes! We are looking for an Associate Instructional Designer to join our growing Instructional Design team to accomplish this mission.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about making an impact on the product learning experience of people with diabetes and their care teams around the globe.

The Associate Instructional Designer will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional members of Insulet's program teams to support the execution of instructional design projects for Insulet's exciting portfolio of products and services. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker interested in developing their career in the principles of instructional design and educational content creation.

Responsibilities:

• Support, collaborate, and execute with inputs from cross-functional stakeholders on the creative development, production release, and market launch of customer-facing product instruction for Insulet's products and services

• Compile necessary research inputs, project requirements, and visual assets to support the creation of materials for the Instructional Design team

• Work with Instructional Design, User Experience Research, and Human Factors teams to iteratively test early concepts and apply instructional design best practices to our work. Proactively engage with research to drive testing of your concepts

• Participate in reviews and iterations of content being developed, particularly with Human Factors, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Product Marketing subject matter experts. Follow up in time to incorporate feedback received by editing and updating documents

• Work closely and collaboratively with the Instructional Design team to ensure a single-voice and on-brand approach to the customer-facing copy while meeting project and learning requirements

• Ensure efficient hand-off and release of quality outputs for submission documentation

• Actively learn about instructional design processes and participate on improvements to processes for operational efficiency and effectiveness

• Report on all tasks and progress on execution following organizational practices and standards established by Program Management and project leadership

• Perform other duties as required

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience

• 1-3 years of experience in creating content for instructional purposes

• Exceptional writing and design-thinking capabilities

• Effective project management and multitasking skills

• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative environment

• The drive to meet deadlines and deliver quality results

• Passion for making a positive impact in people's lives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Instructional Design, Communications, Writing, English, Health, or a similar field from an accredited four-year university

• Passion for building and maintaining strong, positive relationships throughout the organization

• Experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud or similar print and digital content creation tools

• Demonstrated empathy for the audiences we serve

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional US travel, as needed (semi-annually)

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $31.53 - $47.40. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
