Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Staff Engineer to join our Land Development team.

Working closely with experienced engineers, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various projects and expand your skills within the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university


• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas or working towards certification in Texas


• 4+ years of civil engineering experience


• Desire to learn and contribute to land development and/or public works design projects


• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for various projects such as subdivisions, commercial developments, and public works projects


• Conduct engineering analysis and submittal calculations under the guidance of senior engineers


• Utilize computer-aided design and drafting software to produce plan drawings


• Meet billable hours targets by providing support on client projects


• May supervise Designers and Technicians as needed


• Collaborate with other engineers on project tasks


• Assist administrative staff with various tasks as required
