C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight.
C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks, integrates and synchronizes autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance.
C2BMC is an integral part of all system ground and flight tests which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.
- Candidate will be a primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program. - Candidate will be responsible for planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites. - Candidate will be responsible for traveling to remote locations to lead and perform network installations, independently perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel. - Must be a proven network engineer with hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development and testing methodologies. - Must have an understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF. - Must have network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. - Must have firewall experience - especially Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto - Must have experience in UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs. - Must have hands on experience with multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment. - Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio. - Must thrive and do your best work in a collaborative and agile environment. - Must understand standard DOD security practices such as, STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts. - Familiarization with virtualization technologies - NFV, SDWAN, VMware, VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, vSAN, and Aria (Desired) -Experience with network automation using Ansible (Desired) - The position requires an IAT Level II 8570 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc. - The position requires a government security clearance (DoD Secret - minimum, Top Secret - desired); you must be a US Citizen for consideration. - The position is based at a LM facility in Colorado Springs, CO in the long-term, however, this role must be able to travel to alternate work locations, such as Schriever Space Force Base, Alaska, Guam, Europe, etc., to execute job duties such as deployments.
- The position requires a government security clearance (DoD Secret - minimum, Top Secret - desired); you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
- The position is based at a LM facility in Colorado Springs, CO in the long-term, however, this role must be able to travel to alternate work locations, such as Schriever Space Force Base, Alaska, Guam, Europe, etc., to execute job duties such as deployments.
Education:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT), or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
