In this exciting role as a Supplier Quality Engineer II, you will provide on-site support to day-to-day production needs for the Medtronic Diabetes business. This support includes working with cross functional teams to resolve supplier caused CAPAs, qualifying new equipment or process changes at supplier to support production needs. Resolving non-conformities observed at the site with supplier collaboration.

A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Ensures that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.
  • Qualifies suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Evaluates suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation.
  • Collaborates with Component Engineers to develop and deliver the Product Acceptance Sampling Strategy, Approved Supplier List coordination, Supplier Owned Quality deployment, and Control Plans for new products.
  • Define Receiving Inspection requirements as required and associated test method validation for all internal Medtronic Test Methods.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience (Or an advanced degree with 0+ years of experience)

Nice to Have

  • Previous Supplier quality experience
  • Component Qualification experience or PPAP
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Previous medical device experience

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
