Job Description:
Required:
- 15+ years of experience with CICS TS, especially CICS TS5.5, running in a large z/OS Sysplex.
- Experience with CPSM (CICSPlex System Manager) including usage of the CPSM WUI.
- Knowledge of CICS DFHRDO to create/maintain CICS resources, in batch and online.
- Knowledge of CICS connectivity to Db2 and MQ.
- Able to perform CICS problem determination.
- Experience with one or more CICS monitoring tools, such as Broadcom-Sysview, BMC-AMI Ops for CICS(Mainview) and/or IBM-Omegamon.
- Able to work evenings and/or weekends to install CICS changes.
- Able to work in an Oncall rotation, to provide support for off-hours and weekends.
Optional Skills:
- Experience with CPSM BAS to create/install/maintain CICS resources.
- Knowledge/Experience with USS (Unix System Services) and JAVA support in CICS.
- Experience with install and use of CICS vendor products, i.e. Fault Analyzer, CODE1, BMS/GT for Maps, and Xpediter/CICS.
- Experience with SMP/E to install CPSM/CICS maintenance and for maintenance of CICS vendor products.
- Experience with Change Management tools.
