Responsible for the analysis, reporting, performance scorecard development, and pricing bandwidth monitoring for all Tyson Poultry categories for assigned customers.
Ensure accuracy of trade plans for assigned customers, mine data to identify performance trends, monitor forecasts in various trade management systems, and provide updates and recommendations for business improvement to the Team Performance Manager (TPM) and supported sales teams.
Work with the TPM and sales teams to evaluate promotional spend compliance and optimize trade funding, with a focus on growing sales and ROI.
Attend customer meetings with sales teams to develop a strong working relationship with key customer contacts.
Support TPM with coaching up to two Customer Planning Specialists (CPS).
Coordinate promotional analytics with TPM sales teams and Revenue Management to optimize trade plans and forecast accuracy.
Assist TPM with customer and/or team reporting.
Serve as a super user in trade systems.
Manage introductory merchandising funds for sales teams.
Monitor promotional and pricing compliance in accordance with guidelines.
Participate in ad hoc project analytic work as requested.
Establish, nurture, and maintain productive working relationships with key customer and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in CPG Sales or Sales Support role; Category Management Sales and/or Consumer Insights. Food industry experience a plus.
Computer Skills: Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
Communication Skills: Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
