The Vault Reconcilement Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of vault and emergency cash (ATM or Smart Safe) at Cash Connect, a division of WSFS Bank. This includes analyzing reporting data from over 480 sites across multiple platforms to finalize inventory, manage activity discrepancies and examine trends in performance failures to ensure minimal asset risk.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Audit vaults to mitigate financial risk by compiling case details and data roll up to national partners.

  • Apply strategic and analytical skills to translate data to reports, visualizations, and dashboards.

  • Support our nationwide partners and customers with solutions on device asset risk through in-depth research of internal & external factors.

  • Focus on multiple external cash management systems data to balance and track asset performance, relaying this performance to internal/external business leaders.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in cash logistics data reconcilement and process review as well as develop your knowledge base in areas that may include retail deposits, regulatory compliance, asset recovery, claims research, developer code testing, and concurrently work on various projects.

  • Compile and interpret data from internal/external systems, couriers, customers and processors to systematically examine residual data discrepancies while identifying trends in partner performance. Demonstrate this domain expertise as well as strong carrier/customer knowledge to be able to put together a set of recommendations for Leadership team to review.

  • Develop problem frameworks, hypotheses, test and analysis, solution development, scope operational feasibility, predictive modeling, lead implementation efforts and develop a monitoring plan for a variety of initiatives

  • Work closely with colleagues across WSFS, Cash Connect, National customers, and armored carriers to deliver a complete and cohesive balancing solution and drive improvement in data quality, volume, service, and asset profitability.

  • Understand the various background facets of data sources.

  • Successfully manage inventory and GL adjustments pertaining to the Federal Reserve Bank, carrier activity and identify trends in performance failures to ensure minimal exceptions.

  • Investigate and validate at-risk sites and work to mitigate financial loss.

  • Actively participate in Impact Planning Meetings and assist in the completion of plans

  • Provide support during high frequency volume periods.



Minimum Requirements:


  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business or quantitative field. Or must have a minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience.

  • Must have a demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience.

  • Must have experience with a cash management system and analysis of its data.

  • Previous cash logistics experience strongly preferred.

  • Working proficiency in cash logistics data tools such used in the industry.

  • Strong written and oral communication, ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas/information.

  • The ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong ability to produce actionable solutions.

  • Knowledge of and ability to apply and evaluate new information technologies for business environments to improve work productivity and accuracy.

  • Capability to manage work and provide timely business and technical presentations for the analytics across multiple assets within a customer portfolio in addition to carrier footprint.
