Job Description:

Tactica Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Facilities Integrator for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineer (DCSENG) for facilities engineering & sustainment and environmental planning & compliance at Fort Greely, Alaska.



Duties and Responsibilities


  • Provide leadership, direction, and technical oversight to the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineer office, and local Facility Management team.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, as needed.
  • Maintain, track, and report the status of construction upgrades, planning and design charettes, renovation, modification, modernization, sustainment, and maintenance and repair orders within government owned or occupied facilities.
  • Provide immediate and appropriate responses to building automation system alerts and/or alarms in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Perform routine facility maintenance inspections, in-progress checks, and quality assurance audits to determine condition levels, assess final work product(s) against requirements documentation to verify results meet customer expectations, and report findings.
  • Submit timely and accurate CDRLs including, but not limited to, Monthly Status Reports, Spend Plans, Budget Forecasts, Project Status Update Briefings, and Trip Reports.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of professional studies, reports, and analyses.
  • Provide technical and/or administrative recommendations to resolve issues in a timely and fiscally responsible manner.
  • Lead preventative and corrective action efforts, conduct root cause and statistical analyses and report findings.
  • Identify, monitor, and control risks, determine probability and consequences and recommend appropriate elimination, transference, mitigation, or acceptance strategies.
  • Establish, collaborate, and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
Job Requirements:



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience supporting customer(s), preferably within the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) community.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and providing timely and accurate contract deliverables (e.g. monthly status reports, trip reports, slide presentations, project updates, integrated master schedules, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to determine differences between contract types, Cost-reimbursable, Time and Materials (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), etc.
  • Proficient working in a demanding and flexible environment and demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize, delegate, and multi-task.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be highly proficient using MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, Teams, Outlook) with the capability to coordinate with and brief high-level military, USG, subcontractor, vendor and supplier personnel.
  • Capable of planning, participating and leading conference calls, technical interchange meetings, impromptu updates, and prepare comprehensive meeting minutes.
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally travel (domestic and international) in support of customer requirements.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance at the appropriate level for the duration of the contract Period of Performance. U.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of U.S. Army rank and grade structure, and government civilian pay scale equivalencies, regulations, and other organizations specific to the USASMDC.
  • Experience working and collaborating with U.S. Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW) divisions and personnel.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Active security clearance with current investigation, a plus.

Physical Requirements: Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
